Choosing your sauna
How do I choose the right size?+
Start with how many people will usually bathe together and how much space you have on site. Each RecoSauna model page lists its exact external dimensions and the product description explains the interior layout, so you can compare models side by side.
What is the difference between the RecoSauna families?+
The collections group models by architecture: large-glazed modern designs, classic square saunas and compact mini saunas. Browse the collections to see every size and wood option in each family.
Thermowood or Nordic pine?+
Many models are offered in both. Thermowood is heat-treated timber with a darker, even tone; Nordic pine keeps the lighter, natural colour of the wood. The wood used for each model is shown in its name and on its product page.
Heating
Electric or wood-burning heat?+
An electric heater is convenient and easy to control, and can be switched on remotely with a compatible controller. A wood-burning stove gives the traditional crackle and soft heat of a classic Finnish sauna and needs a chimney. The heating choices available for each model are shown on its product page.
Is a heater included?+
This depends on the model. Check the "What’s included" section on the product page, or ask a sauna specialist before you order.
